Our thirst for finding inspiring stories to tell took us to Imsouane, Morocco.
Once only a humble hamlet on the southern shoreline. The village, renowned for its fishing heritage, has now become a sanctuary cherished by surfers from around the globe. Its claim to fame? The longest wave in North Africa.
Born and raised in this heavenly playground, Lahccen Aguerd quickly formed a deep bond with the ocean. As a child, Lahcen would accompany his father, a hardworking fisherman, to the harbor every day, eager to lend a hand and learn the ropes of the trade. There, Lahcen would spend his days immersed in play on the sandy shores, a seed sown that would shape his destiny.
For him, the mastery of surfing was not merely a hobby or fleeting passion, it was the essence of his existence. It consumed his every waking thought and fueled his relentless pursuit of growth and excellence.
